How to Obtain a PASARA License
PASARA licences are granted by each state's Controlling Authority — generally an officer of the state Home Department or Police. An application must satisfy the antecedent-verification and training requirements prescribed under PSARA before a licence is issued.

Ensure the agency is properly registered as a Private Limited Company, LLP, or firm, with Indian ownership as required under PSARA.
2Step 2: Police & Antecedent Verification
Apply for police verification of all directors, partners, and key managerial personnel to establish clean antecedents.
3Step 3: Sign MoU with a Training Institute

4Step 4: File the Application
Submit the prescribed PSARA application form to the State Controlling Authority with entity details, service categories, documents, and the applicable fee.
5Step 5: Premises Inspection & Verification

6Step 6: Grant of PASARA License
